Perth Concrete Pools provides over 26 years experience in the concrete pool industry.
Our team is highly skilled and equipped to build custom designed concrete pools and spas, which are both innovative and aesthetically pleasing.
We are the leading experts in new pool installations and renovations, ranging from high end luxury to the everyday household.
Prior to work commencing on site, a Building Permit application must be processed in order to gain Council Approval. All of our applications are certified which guarantees a 10 working day turnaround time once submitted to Council.
An excavator or bobcat is used to dig each pool into the custom shape and depth. We can also coordinate a hand dig where access to site is limited.
Our shells are built in strict accordance to the engineering specifications using timber, corrugated iron and 12mm steel lengths. Double caging and thickened concrete may be required where pools are positioned within close proximity to boundaries or existing structures.
Plumbing and light fittings are installed prior to the pool shell being sprayed with concrete to a minimum of 150mm thick. This is when the pool really starts to come to life with the pool walls, seats and steps being hand cut to design. Closely followed by backfilling, compaction and finalising the plumbing connections.
The tiles are applied to the top 200mm waterline of the pool wall, the pool headers/copping are then fixed to the top of the pool surrounds. Our friends at Ceramic Tile Supplies will be more than happy to assist you in choosing your perfect tile in 200mm x 200mm, 600mm x 300mm or mosaics. Freo Stone are our preferred suppliers for headers, conveniently located in Greenwood and Bibra Lake, their staff are the leading experts in the industry.
A secure pool barrier must be installed to Australian Standards prior to the internal finish taking place. Our trusted supplier, Rainbow Quartz, plaster can then be applied to the concrete walls and floor, boasting a stunning smooth finish. A light acid wash is carried out the next day to enhance the plaster colour prior to filling with water.
At this stage of the project, the filtration can now be installed and a demonstration of the equipment will be carried out by our pool maintenance professional. Your swimming pool is now fully operational and ready to enjoy!
